SAN PEDRITO

San Pedrito is one of the most important religious celebrations of the ports of Peru, this
celebration is very popular our city of Chimbote. The activities it is going to be from June
19 and lasts about 2 weeks. The main day is June 28.

we have got a lot of activities for the family.

On the central day we are going to celebrate a mass then the image of San pedrito going
to process to the bay here the people going to in the boats to the white island.

The universities going to make parades through the avenues with typical costumes and
perform dances.

Artistic, cultural and gastronomic fairs are held in the center and in the forest nursery of
Chimbote.

In the Chimbote Forest Nursery there is going to make also a fair where there is music
of the kind cumbia and huayno. Here we going to can find typical dishes such as guinea
pig, pachamanca, pork to the stick, ceviche, trout. There are going to sell many products
from the region, crafts, animals. The children going to ride in mechanical games and they
going to see the fair.

This party is celebrated as a family and is very fun.
