ANNOUNCEMENTS
(V Sunday of Easter – 19th May, 2019)

1. Fr. Clarence Fonseca, our Parish Priest has been appointed as parish
Priest to the Parish of St. Andrews Church – Bandra, with effect from
1st June 2019. We acknowledge, with gratitude his contribution in all
the spiritual, pastoral and administrative work of the parish. We
wish Fr. Clarence all God’s blessings in his next assignment at St.
Andrews. In a very special way, Fr will be felicitated by the PPC on
26th May, during the 10.30 am mass.

2. The Parish Feast will be celebrated on Sunday 26th May 2019. There
will be a Tridum in preparation for the Parish Feast from the 23rd to
25th May. The evening Mass for the Tridum, will be at 7 pm in the
Church. No Mass in the School on these days. Buses will leave at 6.15
pm and 6.20 pm from St. Xavier’s school during the Tridum.

3. The Parish Feast Mass timings on Sunday 26th May, will be as

follows: 7.00 am – Konkani mass, 8.00 am - Marathi, 9.00 am –
Malyalam, and the 10.30 am - English Mass will be celebrated by
Bishop. Savio Domnic Fernandes.

4. A BCS career guidance seminar will be conducted on 19th may 2019

at St. Xavier's school, after 8.30 am mass. We request all the students
of 10th, 11th & 12th to attend this seminar along with one parent.

5. We intend having Association day on the 23rd Thursday after the

Triduim for all members of our cells and Associations and core group
members, lectors and choir members and liturgy committee. Heads of
Association and core groups could collect coupons for dinner from
Jane Barretto on Sunday in the school after the 8.30 am Mass and on
Tuesday and Wednesday in the Church after the evening Mass.

6. During the Tridum from 23rd to the 25th May, the Event
Management Team is organizing many competitions. They are as
follows -
 23rd May - T-shirt painting competition, Footwear
competition. On this day we will also be observing ‘Traditional
day’. Therefore all members of the Associations and parishioners
too can come dressed in traditional wear.
 24th May - Drawing competition, Fancy dress for Senior Citizen,
Foosball competition
 25th May - open talent competition, kids beauty pageant.

You can register for the competitions with any EMT member or
the parish office before 22nd May.

7. Parents of children who received 1st Holy Communion in April, may

collect the snaps from the parish office.

8. The Names of the New PPC representatives for 2019-2022, will be as

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.65, 972/-

Lenten alms by cash Rs. 1,25,150/- and by cheque Rs. 23,700/-
