QUARTER/TOPIC: 20th Century Music/Impressionism
CONTENT STANDARD: The Learner demonstrates understanding of 20th century music styles and
characteristic features.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The Learner designs musical pieces using particular style/s of the 20th Century.
TRANSFER GOAL: 90% of the learner should be able to create musical pieces using particular
style/s of the 20th Century with proper understanding of its characteristic
features.
ESSENTIAL UNDERSTANDING: The learner will be able to understand the characteristic features of the 20th
Century music that will help them to design musical pieces using particular
style/s.
ESSENTIAL QUESTION: How will you differentiate the 20th Century musical styles from each other?
PERFORMANCE TASK: There will be a seminar about the Consumer Health in different barangays in the
Philippines. As the speaker and the official representative of DOH, you have been tasked to create a campaign
advertisement discussing the given topics above. The said seminar will be held at the Town Plaza and will be attended by
the local citizens. The aim of the said seminar is to inform the citizens of the local town about the importance of
knowing such topics and for them to be aware of whatever Health-related issues they may have to face. Your campaign
advertisement must include at least one musical style from the 20th Century music as musical background. Your project
will be graded according to the different standards: Group Cooperation, Storyboard, Documentation, Subject Content,
Video content and organization, Introduction, Mechanics, and Production.
