On pressing the stop button, the lift should stop

On opening the car door, lift should stop

The trailing cable should be in good condition that is the
insulation shall not get frayed or damaged mechanically

The suspension rope should be adequately fastened

These should be in working condition wherever provided

The switch, when made ‘ON’ should make the landing calls
inoperative and the car has to be report to ground floor and
should remain on car control. When the switch is put ‘OFF’
the car should return to normal working

The landing door, on pull or sliding should not open and the
car has to be continue movement
