Envitia Geo Registry Server
The Envitia Geo Registry service is fully compatible with
the OGC CSW ebRIM application profile, delivering the full
flexibility of the electronic business Registry Information
Model. The Geo Registry can store geospatial metadata
relating to a range of data services, as well as supporting
related artefacts such as authorisation, documents, styling
information and symbols. The registry server supports
advanced queries not supported by the simpler CSW-
ISO application profile which means more complex data
sources such as live feeds, vector feature database content
and meteorological information can be catalogued and
discovered. The registry provides a solid platform for
discovery via browsers, thick client applications, or other
web service platforms offering architectural flexibility
and scalability.
Envitia Geo Registry Portal
The Envitia Geo Registry Portal provides a range of
capabilities depending on user type. It can be configured to
provide simple discovery capabilities via an easy to use search
interface, but also to provide a highly functional viewing and
exploitation capability, enabling users to visualise and review
the data services captured in the Geo Registry.
Envitia Web Service Harvester
The Envitia Web Service Harvester allows the registry to
remain synchronised with a range of web service end points
and other catalogues. The harvester is driven from the Geo
Registry server and scans identified OGC web service end
points (WMS, WFS, WCS and WPS) and other catalogue
services (CSW-ISO or CSW-ebRIM) to provide a single
consolidated set of references.
