Step 1 Screw
Power “OFF” the reefer !

Insert the RTM Module into

the Comm Interface
Module bay and secure
with mounting screw.

Step 2
Connect the DATA cable to
the Interrogator Connector.

ANTENNA Place Magnet behind Place the ANTENNA Here !

Step 3
the ANTENNA
Install the ANTENNA on
the controller door (with
additional Magnet behind)
and route the cable
carefully to avoid
obstructing door opening
and closing.

* The controller door is non-magnetic

(Alu).

Secure the Antenna cable

along the door seal Ensure cable is not obstructing

Plug in the ANTENNA connector

Step 4
Make sure the Reefer
power is “OFF” before
connect the POWER
connector.

After connected the POWER cable.

Power up the reefer and verify 24VAC
is supplied to the RTM Module.
(Some version RTM Module with LED light)

ANTENNA

Step 5
Secure all cable and
ensure no dangling cable.
Lock the controller door.

Step 1
Power “OFF” the reefer !
Unplug the POWER connector
Unplug the POWER
connector.

If the container is still

laden, Power “ON” the
reefer.

Step 2
Unplug the DATA cable
from Interrogator Unplug the DATA connector Unplug the ANTENNA connector
Connector.

Unplug the ANTENNA

Step 3
ANTENNA Magnet behind
Carefully retrieve the the ANTENNA
ANTENNA cable then
remove the ANTENNA and
magnet.

Unscrew and remove the

RTM module from the
Comm Interface Module Retrieve the ANTENNA cable
bay.

Power Up - Self-Test Sequence

POWER LED - ON (Red) permanent

ERROR LED - Blink (Red) once (very POWER
fast, less then 1/2 sec)
OPERATION LED - Blink (Green) once ERROR

OPERATION
Once completed, only POWER LED - ON
