Chancellors Girls Bring Home Provincial Rugby Title

T he Minnedosa Chancellors were crowned Provincial


Champions for the third year in a row.  On Saturday
June 1st the Lady Chancellors completed the three-peat
with a convincing win over the Sisler Spartans with a
score of 58 to 5. The team have become the first ever high
school girls rugby team to win three straight Manitoba
Provincial Championships.
Coached by head coach Kathleen Muirhead and as-
sistant coach Cody Pollon, the Chancellors finished with
an 8 to 1 record to complete an outstanding season.  This
is the fourth league title for the Chancellors overall.
