The month of August was full of activities even though there were class
suspensions. The highlight of this month was the administration of First Periodical
Examination(August 10-13, 2018). Review time was given to the students to recall
the lessons and competencies for the exam. It is also the time for the completion of
outputs and projects for the learners.
Learners who need remediation were visited by the class advisers to make sure
that they will come to school to take exam and to comply the needed outputs to
pass the specific subject. Since yours truly has no advisory class, I volunteered
myself to accompany some class advisers to visit the students and call the attention
of their guardians.
Test papers were constructed, table of specifications were analysed and these
are the requirements needed to submit before the administration of the
examination. Of course, after the examination, grading sheets should prepare by the
subject teachers as a result of the overall performance of the learners in 1ST quarter.
In line with the project of Department of Health, Kontra Bulate Program was
introduced to the learners. I assisted the adviser to give the Kontra Bulate Tablet on
the day of the administration.
Another program of the Department of Social Work and Development that is
linked to DepEd is the 4Ps for the students and families. I am one of the facilitators
of the YDS among the recipients of 4Ps at TNHS on August 30, 2018.
