Background of the study

How does the history affect the tourism in pinsal falls? We all know that pinsal falls are
one of the famous tourist spot in Sta.Maria, and there is a story about the footprint at the top
of pinsal falls. It is one of the reason why tourist want to go and visit pinsal falls. As a tourist we
should be responsible for not spreading about it, because we don’t even know weather its fake
or real but, because of the footprint many tourist attract and convince to go and visit the said
famous tourist spot.

Significance of the study

The students-It helps them to see what did people do in the past.

The parents-They can help improved the tourism in their place/locality.

LGU-Sta.Maria will help the tourism in pinsal falls if they will find out that the history of pinsal
falls can help tourist to visit it.

The community-The study will also be valuable to the community. The members will be happy
that their barangay has many tourist wanted to go and visit their beautiful place.

The future researcher-The study will help furture researcher as well. They may use this paper
as reference material for their research. With the conclusion an recommendations made by the
proponents, the study can give more knowledge to the future researcher.

Scope and Delimitation

The study focuses on the effect of history to the tourism of pinsal falls.It present the effect
that result from the history of pinsal falls.furthermore. the research is limited to the pinsal falls.
Making an document and interviewing the people who visit here however it does not not cover
suso and nalvo Sta.Maria.

Operational Definition of Terms

HISTORY- Thruth and Lies about the footprint of angalo.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION- Where pinsal are Located.

Assumptions

The researcher postulate the following premises to be true:

1. The instrument for data gathering are valid, reliable and objective.
2. The sample detected is adequate and satisfactory represents to whole population

Hypothesis

H0= There is no significant relationship between history and tourism.

H1= There is significant relationship between history and tourism.

Methodology

Research Design- the researcher will use the qualitative method of research. Although the
researcher will tally the respondents answers to question relate to the research problem, the
feedback will from the data to describe very substantially the answer to the research question.

Population, sample and Techniques

The research will use the tourist visiting Sta.Maria as its population. However, the study
will use random sampling since it will only include 100 random visitors. Also the municipal
officer in-charge of tourism will be interviewwd using a prepared questioned.

Data gathering instruments

The study will use a questionnaire to identify the effect of history to the tourism of
pinsal falls.

1. Why did you want to go and visit pinsal falls?

2. Have you seen the footprint of angalo in pinsa?
3. Do you know about the history of pinsal falls?
4. Do you believed that it was indeed angalo’s footprint?
5. What can you say about the said footprint?
6. What do you like to see in pinsal aseide from the majestic falls?
7. Did the history attract you to come and visit pinsal falls?
8. Will you introduce/recommend pinsal falls to your friend or to other people to visit?
9. Do you want to go and visit here again ?
10. What were the difficulties you incounter for visiting pinsl falls?

1.from your experience as a municipal office in charge, what tourist spot attract tourist
the most here in Sta.Maria?
2.how can you use history to promote the tourism in Sta.Maria?
3.what makes different pinsal falls from other tourist spot in the province?
4.do you think the history connected to pinsal falls and attract more tourist to visit it?

Data gathering instruments

The researcher give the letter to the municipal in charge of tourism of Sta.Maria then
interview her if she approved it , the proponents get the statistical report on the
number of tourist , after that the researcher make a data from interview and reportand
lastly we will make the conclusion.

Statistical treatment data

The researcher will not employ complex statistical treatment aside from
percentages since the study only uses the tallied numbers of responses to certain
questions to identify the relationship between variables after which they will compute
for the percentages and base interpretations the calculated numbers.
CHAPTER II: PRESENTATION,ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

Interpretations
From the date, it can be deduced that most tourist go to the cultural heritages spot.
Perhaps be attributed. To the rich experience they have when visiting the place,
compared to the tourist attraction that has no cultural background. The data emphasize
out that the monthly report on the number of visitors point out of the cultural heritage
spot with 19,000 for Nalvo and 38,000 for pinsal falls.
