Vica: Good afternoon, dear members of the jury!

We are a group of students, overwhelmed by

the new technical innovations and with original curious ideas from the “George Coșbuc”
Theoretical Lyceum. We are ready to discover even the most mysterious things of the everyday
world.
Gabriela: Way2Win unites students with an ardent desire to solve cosmic space problems.
Having an incomparable team spirit, we are ready to coordinate productively.
Ana: Dear young researchers, we are at a scientific conference today! Each of you is the best in
a specific field, so you are invited to present the results of the research you have been working
for 2 months. You wonder why so much haste. Mass media news is terrible…
Dan: We don’t understand what you are talking about. We didn’t have time to listen to the
latest news, being preoccupied with the research.
Ana: Of course I understand your perplexity and I suggest to turn on the TV and listen to the
latest news.
Cristi: Now, we understand better, why it was so important to work productively and at the
maximum capacity upon our project: “Protecting Spaceships and Astronauts from Cosmic
Radiation”.
Vica: The news overwhelmed our attention. That is why our research topic focuses upon
astronauts’ exposure to the cosmic radiation. We have decided to investigate cosmic radiation
and its negative effects on the human body in order to find innovative solutions.
Gabriela: Excuse me. I would like to tell you about the terrible effects of cosmic space on the
human body. Reading NASA’s official web side, I can say that… (Slide 3)
Vlad: Colleagues, are you talking about the problems faced by astronauts in cosmos? That’s my
research field. We got the information related to this subject after the discussion with Mrs.
Rusnac Aliona, who is a physical therapist at Bălți Town Clinical Hospital.
Natalia: Could I interrupt you? I would like to tell you that having a discussion with the
psychological Mrs. Turcanu Daniela, I discovered that astronauts also face mental health
problems. (Slide 5)
Catalin: Dear colleagues, I want you to know that all these problems are caused by cosmic
radiation. This useful information was provided by Mr. Hirbu a lecturer at the Bălți State
University “Aleccu Russo” who is a doctor of science and physics.
Ana: Your ideas are great, but what are the solutions to solve the problem? (se anunta solutiile)
Ana: Dear colleagues, it is worth mentioning that from the theoretical point of view you have
succeeded in presenting your research fields. However, how can we implement these ideas? I
suggest to work thoroughly upon creating a spacecraft that would materialize the above
mentioned ideas.
Gabriela: This project elaborated by the Way2W team has been published on the official site of
Bălți Youth and Sport Department. In this way other institutions will have the access to
complete it. So the entire community will be able to contribute in solving the problem.
Ana: Dear friends, it was a pleasure to cooperate in this team, to design and to launch
innovative ideas.
Vica: Meet you at the next First Lego League edition with new ideas and the same ardent desire
of making discoveries.
