b. Use capital letters properly
c. Appreciate the use of common and proper nouns in our daily lives

Now, I have here a table with 5 columns. (persons, places, animals,
things and ideas/events) beside the table are list of words.
May I ask for volunteers to help me fill out this table?

Noun
Take a look at the table. Any idea of what noun means?
There are many kinds of nouns, but today, let’s focus on the first two kinds
of nouns. Proper nouns and Common nouns.
Let’s define Proper Nouns. Everybody read.
- Proper nouns are the specific names of persons, places, animals,
things, and ideas/events. They begin with capital letters.
Examples: Andrew, Japan, Christmas
For our next activity, I have here another table, but this time it has only 2
columns (Proper nouns and Common Nouns). Going back to our first
table, classify all the words if it is a proper noun or a common noun.
Any volunteers?

IV. ASSESSMENT
Make It Proper!
On the left is a list of common nouns. On the right, you need to write a proper noun that goes
along with the common noun on the left.
