1.0 SCOPE

The spare VCCS Downfacing Assembly, S/N: 4500113856-00120-044 has been delivered at an agreed
orientation of 11.25 degree. In order to utilize this spare assembly for well jumper BDC-1A-06 the orientation
of the well jumper pipe does not need to be altered, but the Back Seal Test Tubing must be installed and
Dow Corning 732 sealant applied to all gaps and openings between hub and upfacing structure/lock
segments.

The Back Seal Test Receptacle on VCCS Downfacing Assembly S/N: 4500113856-00120-021 must be
replaced with new Back Seal Test Receptacle, P/N: N100773-02, S/N: 460320369-1-001.

2.0 INSTRUCTION

2.1 Ensure JSA / TRA / etc. is completed and approved prior to commencement of activities.

2.2 Verify the serial number of the Downfacing Assembly is S/N: 4500113856-00120-044.

2.3 Verify the Downfacing Assembly is in the correct orientation as shown in Figure 1.

2.4 Apply Dow Corning 732 to all gaps and openings between hub and downfacing structure/lock segments.
Example shown in Image 1.

2.5 Install the Back Seal Test Tubing in accordance with drawing N113038-45002. The tubing run will be similar
to that depicted in Figure 2.

2.6 Identify VCCS Downfacing Assembly S/N: 4500113856-00120-021.

Disconnect Back Seal Test Tubing and remove existing Back Seal Test Receptacle. Install the new Back
Seal Test Receptacle, P/N: N100773-02, S/N: 460320369-1-001, using existing M12 x 30.00mm Socket
Head Cap Screws. Make-up torque IAW N042049-0001.

3.0 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND SIGN-OFF

I hereby verify that the VCCS downfacing assembly, S/N: 4500113856-00120-044, has be modified in
accordance with the instructions in this technical note.
