would. First, Ss will complete the sentences elicited by the Tr. while listening to the audio script as pre-
listening. Second, Ss will Identify how to use If clause with could after the teacher’s explanation. Finally, Ss
will practice completing the sentences with would or could.

4. What model verb do you see in the second clause? A: Would

Wrap-up: 3-Tr. gives the students a quick drill on this grammar point.
-Tr. gives handout to Ss and asks them to complete the sentences with

Lesson Description: This lesson is written to allow student to present and practice using if clause with could
…. would. First, Ss will complete the exercise with If clause with could and the correct form of the word in
parenthesis. Second, Ss will write 6 sentences about their dreams using If clause with could. Finally, Ss will
share their ideas to the partner and the class.
Objectives Method/Activities
Warm-up: Do reading project - Tr. checks Ss’ attendance.
