I Believe in Miracles

By: Kathryn Kuhlman

I. The novel entitled “I Believe in Miracles” by Kathryn Kuhlman was all about the theme

song of her life. She believed in miracles and this belief was so strong and sincere it enabled

thounsands to take hold of God’s Power for the lives. Kathryn Johanna Kuhlman also known as

“Kathryn Kuhlman”, was born at Concordia, Missouri on 9th day of May year 1907. She died at

the age of 68 on February 20, 1976 in Hilcrest Medical Center, Tulsa. Kathryn Kuhlman is one of

American’s most popular Evangelists and Faith Healers but she does not consider herself as being

an Evangelist, even though most people consider her. Aside of being a minister of the Gospel she

is President of The Kathryn Kuhlman Foundation, a religious, charitable, non-profit organization.

Through the Kathryn Foundations, Twenty two mission stations has been erected overseas and

each was presented debt-free to the native people. Kathryn Kuhlman, also heard nightly on Radio

Station WWVA, the 50,000 watt station in Wheeling, West Virginia and twice daily she heard

over WADC in Akron, Ohio, from which she receives a tremendous response from Canada. She

published more than 20 books in her life because of her wide ecumenical sympathies she was a

major influence on range of healing ministries. One of her most popular book is “I Believe in

Miracles”, was published in year 1962. In this book you will read a true stories and meet twenty-

one ordinary people who needed as special touch of God’s healing power. Through the ministry

of Kathryn Kuhlman, their hopes and prayers were answered.

II. I Believe in Miracles is a story about the true case histories of a twenty-one men, women

and children who are all suffered from an incurable diseases. Which miraculously healed through

the power of faith channeled by Kathryn Kuhlman. However, even a miracle like this have

happened under Kuhlman’s leadership, she still disclaim His Redeeming Son and the Power of
Holy Ghost. On the other hand, though she is a believer of the power of prayer and the power of

God to heal, she still honor and respect medical profession like doctor. But as a believer of God,

she claims that “miracles have happened, that she can prove it and that the circumstances of these

miracles are worth careful analysis so that we might better understand how some people get sick

and what part the Christian religion can play in helping them get well’s.”

III. After reading this book, I recommend to all readers out there to read this story by yourself

because it will make you believe that healing of the body mind, emotions and soul can still happen,

even the so-called “hopeless”. This story will also inspired you about how powerful our faith in

God can just like what Kathryn Kuhlman have showed.
