Removing Pimples/Other Objects in the Face/ Retouching Face

1. Open pic & crop

*click “spot healing brush tool” or
* Patch tool- very useful in removing shadows in face & pimples
*Dodge tool

2. Click “Adjustment Layer/New Adjustment Layer (may shortcut)

*Hue/saturation/lightness

3. Levels:-bright/contrast as the case maybe…… ctlr L / ctrl M –RGB

 You may click “channel” for other colors
 Layer “vibrance” /saturation
 Layer “Color balance”

4. Filter /Adjustment– “reduce Noise”-may return to ctlr L / ctrl M

 Strength / Preserve Details
 Noise or sharpen may help

B. Smoothening Face:
1. Background –duplicate
-click “image” then click “invert”
-change “normal” to “ VIVID LIGHT”
-click “Filter, click other then “High Pass” -16.4 pixels
-Filter “Blur”, click “Caucasian Blur” –3.9 --- tingnan mo…..

C. Skin Portrait Retouching:

1. Open pic
2. Duplicate background –rename it “texture”
3. Duplicate background 2 –rename it “color”
 *in duplicate color-use “cloning” to some objects need to clean
4. Make duplicate layer- click “unlock”
5. Click “texture” then use “Patch” tool in cleaning- para ti wara a buok or
6. Click “texture” for cloning ..
7. Make Layer 1 and rename it “dodge”-click dodge an work to the eyes and others……
8. and the duplicate layer “Burn”, then work to the eyelids and eyeballs…..
9. Click “normal” to “soft light”
10. Return to texture layer and clean hair in the eyes…. Use patch tool…..
11. Burn the eyelids too..
12. Make another layer then use “brush tool” to the eyelids…
13. Make another layer then , for eyebrow coloring (optional to) in layer 3
Face Airbrushing/smoothening

1. Background Layer pic –rename it to layer

2. Duplicate it- rename layer 1 copy
3. Click Filter “blur” to “surface blur” then set to 18 radius & 16 threshold
4. Click Filter “noise” – add 2 = ok
5. Drag layer 1 copy to the bottom of layer 1
6. On the layer 1, click “eraser” and set “brush preset picker” to 27 (hardness 0) etc..
7. Right click level 1, click “merge visible”-agbalin a maymaysan
8. Click “image” & make adjustments ----brightness / contrast or other options of adjustments
- Click sharpen, ctrl B, L or M to make final adjustments…..
- LIPS maybe colored red.. click background go to “lasso tools” then click “fill or adjustment
layer” shortcut. Finalize NA!
