“Shoet” the Same Object

For this assignment, you are going to demonstrate your ability to take pictures from many different angles of:
the lowly shoe. Choose your favorite shoe, a well-worn shoe, a colorful shoe, but, you must shoot a shoe.

● Take a total of 25 pictures of the same shoe.
● Look for different angles and perspectives on the shoe.
● Get close and get creative with the shoe!
● Choose a well-lit area and make sure the background is not cluttered, which may cause a
distraction from the shoe.

**Always check your focus**

Camera settings: You should be using aperture priority (AV) setting on the camera, and ISO on Auto. Single
point focus.

Below is an example for inspiration. Be sure to fill the frame as much as you can with different angles of
the shoe.

Editing Procedure:

1. In Pixlr or GIMP, please edit ALL 25 of your shots as you normally would (cropping, exposure, etc).
2. Convert all of your photos to black and white.
3. Upload your pictures to the correct folder, naming them “Shoe Shoot Assignment.”

Submittal requirements:

Using Google Slides, make a single Google Slide document and create a collage, using at least 18 of your
shoe shots.

Be creative with your design!

Please use the following structure to name your Google Slide file:
First name_last name_shoe shoot collage

Share them with Mrs. Slappey via the Google folder. (Link sent via REMIND)
