Lesson Plan Format

INTRODUCTION
T will:

DEVELOPMENT
T will:
iMovie demonstration 10-15mins • ask any Ss who have their laptops open to shut them
and listen to the demonstration.

full view of the demonstration.
• Due to cable size, be at the front of the classroom in
the corner doing a demonstration with some sock

Practical work: Filming or Editing 15mins Once the iMovie demonstration is complete T will:

Packing up 5mins T will:
• Tell Ss to start packing up.
-All equipment used for filming to be placed at the end of
the table.

Demonstration for transferring video 5 mins • All Ss that need to transfer footage on their computer,
footage on laptops gather around the middle of the table for another
demonstration, while the other Ss will sit at their desks
quietly with laptop lids down.
5 mins
Video footage T will:
• Pick one pair to show their edited footage on iMovie.
• Pick one pair to show video footage from filming.
• Hold an open discussion with Ss about the footage shown:
o Ask the other students what they like the most about
the footage.
o Based on what you’ve accomplished today, for you
what do you think is the next step?
T will:
• Tell to pack up their belongings and stand behind their
chair.
• Thank them for their attention (praise/what they need
to work on).
• Any questions about today?
• Tell them by next week, they should have a a rough
draft of their final work.
