INTRODUCTION
T will:
Agenda for the lesson 5mins • gather tell Ss to form two straight lines.

IMovie + a demonstration and a video.
o Ss will either; start editing, resume filming.
o In the last 15 minutes, everyone will start packing
up, boys who will need to transfer their footage on
their camera will watch a demonstration with T.
o T will pick two groups who are editing to show their
work to the class.
• Ask for silence, no silly sounds, refer to last lesson.
DEVELOPMENT
T will:
iMovie demonstration 10-15mins • ask any Ss who have their laptops open to shut them
and listen to the demonstration.

• ask different Ss to read out each part of the

full view of the demonstration.

Practical work: Filming or Editing
• Due to cable size, be at the front of the classroom in
the corner doing a demonstration with some sock
footage.
Ss will:
• focus on the worksheet and read when T asks them to
read a step.
T will:
• continuously ask whether Ss understand and ask a S
to repeat what was said and direct T through the step.
15mins Once the iMovie demonstration is complete T will:

Demonstration for transferring video

5 mins • All Ss that need to transfer footage on their computer,
gather around the middle of the table for another
demonstration, while the other Ss will sit at their desks
quietly with laptop lids down.
5 mins
T will:
• Pick one pair to show their edited footage on iMovie.
• Pick one pair to show video footage from filming.
• Hold an open discussion with Ss about the footage shown:
o Ask the other students what they like the most about
the footage.
o Based on what you’ve accomplished today, for you
what do you think is the next step?
T will:
• Tell to pack up their belongings and stand behind their
chair.
• Thank them for their attention (praise/what they need
to work on).
• Any questions about today?
• Tell them by next week, they should have a a rough
draft of their final work.
