Tabernacles: Shelters from Direct Supernal Influx

Then Peter said to Yeshua, “Adonai, is it good for us to be here; if you wish, I will make three
tabernacles here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah” (Matthew 17:4).

This was the reaction of Peter to the transfiguration of the Master, the revelation of something of
the Body of Glory of the Holy Tzaddik; as we know, he, James and John were overwhelmed in the
midst of this moment of inner grades of Light Transmission and fell into fear, but Adonai Yeshua
comforted them and concealed once again the Light-presence and Light-power that was in him, the
Shekinah of the Messiah. This reflects what happened with the children of Israel at Mount Sinai.
According to masters of the tradition, with every utterance of Yahweh the souls of the people took
flight from their bodies and they fell down, overwhelmed by the influxes of the Light and Spirit of
the Eternal One; on account of this it was ordained that the tabernacle would be built in the
wilderness to shield the people from the intensity of Holy Light and Radiation of the Shekinah of
Yahweh, so that the Holy Shekinah might dwell in their midst, for they, themselves, were not able
to be the living tabernacle of the Eternal One, which was the ultimate desire of the Holy One. In
those days even the prophet, Moses, was not able to be the living tabernacle of the the Elyon, the
Most High, but such was the holiness and beauty of the the Spirit in him that he had to veil his face
so that the children of Israel would not be overwhelmed by his countenance and gaze.

It is for the same reason that the Temple of King Solomon was built, and the temple that was build
after the return of the children of Israel from exile, the one built by a mad and evil king which did
not even house the Holy Shekinah, but was a klippah, an empty shell.

Now, from the very outset of creation the Holy One intended the building of a true, living
tabernacle - the Righteous One, the Human One manifest as the image and likeness of Yahweh
Elohim; hence the Messiah, a temple not built with human hands, but with the Living Word of the
Holy One, and in Adonai Yeshua this original intention of creation was fulfilled, for the Holy
Shekinah and Spirit fully dwelled in him - he embodied the Pleroma of Light, fullness of the True
Light (supernal and primordial). There is, in truth, a concealing of the Holy Light and Spirit within
all Anointed Tzaddik, and how much more so in the Perfect Tzaddik, our Elder Brother, Adonai
Yeshua Messiah; yet there is concealing, shielding, for the sake of revelation, for the sake of Light
Transmission at various gradations, outer, inner and inmost, all as ordained by the Holy One in
wisdom.

Such is the wisdom of skillful means, the imparting of measure blessings, measure transmissions,
concealing, shielding, as there is need, even taking up something of the klippot, as we see in the
building of the tabernacle in the wilderness, and the two temples that followed, each at a lower
grade than what was built before, venturing into klippot, husks. This is Mercy and Compassion, and
specifically it is Mercy taking up Severity, restricting the influxes of the Holy Sefirot so that they
can be received by many to some degree, and perhaps by a few to a greater degree, all as each is
able to receive and integrate.

Understanding this, just as the Tzaddikim conceal the Light-presence and Light-power more or less,
shielding us, as it were, while imparting measured blessings and empowerments, and revealing and
transmitting the Holy Light in lower, outer gradations, so we must aspire and labor to be uplifted
to higher, inner grades, purifying and sanctifying ourselves so that we might be able to receive
greater and greater influxes of the Sefirot, and perchance through grace receive direct Supernal
Influx. You see, this is the intention of the Tzaddikim and the Lord, that imparting blessings and
empowerments at grades we are able to receive them, we might be uplifted to higher, interior
grades and be able to receive greater blessings and empowerments, and ultimately be able to
receive and integrate full Supernal Influx, embodying the the Light-presence and Light-power as
Tzaddik.

The story of Peter, James and John at the transfiguration is beautiful, for as we know whatever
klippot prevented their full reception of the Light Transmission at that time were ultimately
overcome, and they, along with the other disciples of the Master’s inner circle, were able to
receive and integrate direct Supernal Influx, coming into being as a circle of Anointed Tzaddikim,
or Holy Apostles. Thus, though we may encounter times of being overwhelmed in moments of Light
Transmission, and we may encounter great barriers to inner and secret grades of Light
Transmission, we need not be discouraged, but rather we need to engage our spiritual life and
practice with that much more zeal or passion, and continue in our co-labor with the Holy Spirit to
overcome all internal klippot and to complete the work of salvation in us. If we engage in an active
and dynamic surrender to the Lord, and are willing to co-labor with the Spirit of the Lord
throughout our lives, we will overcome all klippot, all barriers that we encounter, and we will
experience direct Supernal Influx, if not in this body and life, then in the afterlife when we depart
this body and world, and reintegrate with the Holy Light. This is the promise of Yeshua Messiah to
us if we will live according to our faith, if we will take up our cross and follow in the Way, and we
can be certain the promise that has been made will be fulfilled, for the Lord will not change his
mind! Praise the Lord!

May we be blessed to become dwellings of the Supernal Shekinah, and truly become the light
of the world! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

This is a beautiful and beneficial contemplation. Thank you.

I have a question about the scripture. Peter says he would build three tabernacles, one for each,
Yeshua, Moses and Elijah. Beyond the obvious relationship of Moses leading the Hebrews out of
slavery and “writing” the Pentateuch, why would Peter reference Moses and Elijah? I thought
comes to me that the relationship between Elijah and John the Baptist might be inferred and play
a part. However, what is the progression of the three, Moses, Elijah, Yeshua? Since it is “the
reaction of Peter to the transfiguration of the Master, the revelation of something of the Body of
Glory of the Holy Tzaddik,” is there a deeper lesson to be learned from this?

A second question comes to me upon reading your message again (and again). Please expound upon
the “active and dynamic surrender to the Lord” you mention. Is this separate and different from
continuing to abide in the practices of the way regardless of the progress made or not made and
accepting what may come or what may not come? That is, accepting the gifts that come and
recognizing they come in the Lord's time, not ours?

I humbly thank you,

Karl

Greetings and blessings in the Holy Light of the Messiah!

The revelation of Yeshua in Glory Body, along with Moses and Elijah, is a significant message
concerning the Messiah; hence, that he is the one who has come to fulfilled the law and the
prophets, and more so that the entire purpose of the law and the prophets was the coming of the
Messiah, the full reception of the Holy Light and Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim). Thus, Moses the
lawgiver appears, along with Elijah, the greatest of the prophets after Moses, and the one who was
to incarnate again with the Messiah. In that Adonai Yeshua was transfigured before these disciples,
and Moses and Elijah appear and commune with him, reveals the Messiah as greater than either
Moses or Elijah, and likewise indicates the teachings and revelations he brings to be of a higher
grade, greater than those of Moses and the law or the prophets and their visions.

There are experiences of Light Transmission corresponding with the Emanation Body and
experiences of Light Transmission corresponding with the Glory Body, outer and inner grades of
Light Transmission, as it were, and then there are the inmost, secret grades of Light Transmission,
which correspond with the Truth Body. In the experience of the inner grades of Light Transmission,
or revelation of the Glory Body, it is not uncommon for the environment to transfigure, along with
the Holy Tzaddik, and it is not uncommon for the spirits of various tzaddikim and maggidim
(angels) to appear in that place, for the greater Light-presence and Light-power in the Holy
Tzaddik is being revealed, and therefore there may be a revelation of something of the invisible
luminous assembly with them. Such a revelation of the Glory Body, or the imparting of inner grades
of Light Transmission, requires that we truly follow the teachings and guidance of our Tzaddik, and
that we draw close to them and cleave to them, open and sensitive to the Holy Shekinah and Spirit
with them; then, to the degree we are able to be surrendered, open and sensitive, something of
this inner revelation can transpire with us, more or less. At that time, for those present with the
Master on the mountain, something of this revelation happened, though only in part, at the
outermost of the inner grades; but later with the Risen Messiah, as we know, they were able to
experience the full revelation of the Glory Body, and able to receive the full communication of the
Holy Light and Spirit.

Concerning an active and dynamic surrender to the Lord and Holy Spirit, this implies a co-labor
with the Spirit of the Lord, and active, not passive, aspiration in which we strive and struggle to
progress in the Gospel, seeking always a better resurrection; hence, we are engaging in the work
of salvation, co-laboring with the Spirit to workout our salvation, or the realization of our soul,
engaging the spiritual life and practice with passionate faith and devotion.

This also implies a process of self-purification or repentance, actively laboring to overcome

klippot, barriers, and to remove shades and shadows, and all that resist, rebels and revolts against
God, the True Light; understand, the Holy Shekinah and Spirit cannot give way to klippot, or shades
and shadows in us, or it would defeat her purpose, and therefore the full indwelling of the Holy
Shekinah and Spirit requires the overcoming of internal klippot and the co-creation of the
conditions in which the Holy Spirit can take up her full divine action in us, completing and
perfecting our salvation - our enlightenment and liberation.

In these times, in this generation, many of us are caught up in a state of lukewarmness in our
spiritual life and practice, unwilling to go out of our comfort zone, or beyond various boundaries
we have created, but for true progress in the evolution of the soul, and a greater spiritual
realization, we need to kindle a fiery passion and be zealous for the Lord, willing to go out of our
comfort zone, willing to push our boundaries, willing to do whatever it takes to uplift our soul to
the Lord and ascend from one grade of consciousness and intelligence to another, actively
returning to God. If we are willing, if we engage in an active and dynamic surrender in this way, we
will experience leaps of progress in our interior life and realization, for the Holy Spirit, Divine
Grace, will take up this labor and movement with us, and will complete and perfect the actions we
have begun. It’s all about passionate faith and devotion, and a surrender, submission, to the Lord,
willing to a complete self-offering, or self-nullification.

In closing I can share, if for some reason we experience a regression, and we fall into a lower,
outer grade or klippah, if we will bow down and humble ourselves in the presence of the Lord, the
Spirit of the Lord will uplift us and exalt us to a higher grade than before; certainly so, for such is
the way of Divine Grace, and in Messiah Yeshua we have a Sanctuary of Grace, we need only
actively strive to return to God, the True Light. This is well illustrated by the story of St. Peter in
the Gospel, he who denied the Lord three times and fled in a crucial moment, but who returned
and was gathered in and uplifted by the Lord as a Holy Apostle. God is merciful! Praise God!

Shalom Aleichem!
