ABOUT PASTOR P.A. CHACKO AND THE MINISTERIAL BEGINNINGS:

In 1967 Pastor P.A. Chacko after God’s call set out for the full time ministry. As
soon as he graduated from the school (10th Grade), he stood up in the church
to testify and thank God for the success He gave him in his studies, as he was
testifying one of the sisters in the Church was filled in the Holy Spirit and
started prophesying and announcing the God’s call in his life for the full time
ministry.
Since he was a Pastor’s son and third generation in a row to be in the ministry,
was not very tough decision for him to take to dedicate himself for the
ministry. Pastor Chacko wanted to go for higher studies in the secular field but
due to the confirmation of God's call he decided to study Bible, hence he joined
Kumbanad Bible College in Kerala.
During his last year of studies in the Bible College, one of his teachers who had just returned from a
North India ministerial trip gave a challenging overview of the need of ministers in North India. Same
day He and few of his friends decided and dedicated their lives for the North Indian evangelism and
church planting.
In 1967 he left his home and came to North India, 1046 miles away from his family. He established a
church in Balaghat and in Madhya Pradesh.
In 1973 he moved to Ujjain. Ujjain is a pilgrim place for Hindus. He established a church in Ujjain and
in 9 years time he ensured that the gospel reached every nook & corner of Ujjain.
Then in 1983 he moved to Itarsi and started teaching in the same Bible
College where he once studied and also Pastored a church. There Pastor
Chacko taught the prophetical subjects focusing on Revelation, Daniel along
with Major Prophets and Minor Prophets.
During one of the outreach meetings Pastor Chacko was brutally assaulted by
a Hindu fundamentalist resulting 13 stitched on his head. This happened in
1982 in Hoshangabad one of the districts of Madhya Pradesh, It was during
an annual fare this incident took place. The culprit was left unharmed by the
police also on Pastor Chacko’s request.
In 1995 as per God’s direction he moved to Nagpur. Here he was involved in
different areas of ministry. He was regular host of a radio show in the
national Radio and occasionally he gives messages on the local Cable TV.

INCEPTION OF FAITH MINISTRIES INDIA

In 1991 we registered our ministry as Vishwas Sewa Samiti “Faith
Ministries India”, with a vision to reach the unreached with the
Gospel of Jesus. We started a school in Madhya Pradesh as one of
the first ministry. It was a great success.
Then in we published our first book under “Faith Ministries
Publication” which was again a great blessing for the body of Christ.
God helped us to publish another 3 more books. We have a quarterly
magazine in Hindi “Vishwas ki Pukar” (Call of Faith). We prayerfully
conducted crusades in different cities of Madhya Pradesh with the
message of signs of end time and second coming of Jesus. We are praying for more schools, technical
institutes, Bible college and Crusade ministry and so on.

FAITH MINISTRIES PUBLICATIONS

By God’s grace we were able to publish few books
based on the prophetical subjects. Our publications are
the hard work of Rev P.A. Chacko who had been
teaching & preaching Bible since 1969.

Study of Revelation (Volume I & II) & Study of Daniel

became the first book in Hindi in the history of Christian
literature in India. These books are now used as text
books in many Bible colleges. Since there is a huge demand we need to reprint the second edition of
both the books.
