Didactic concept
The WMU GmbH works in their training events basically participant oriented in compliance with the country-
specific characteristics.

That means:
We ask for the expectations and needs of the participants and arrange our offers so that they conform
to the extent possible,
We provide not only knowledge, but also methodological skills,
we actively relate the experiences of the participants in the learning process,
We work action-oriented and practical,
We ensure thereby and by the integration of experience,

All events are participants and practical-oriented. It will work with a variety of different methods and a change
of social forms. The seminar and workshops follow the "learning by doing" principle. The Participants will not
only learn theory and instructional skills, but apply and reflect them in terms of their own teaching situations.
All events are prepared and carried out by experienced Trainers. These not only have a high level of
professionalism in the topic, but also have a profound didactic - methodological competence which they have
demonstrated through specific educational qualifications and years of experience in the field of vocational
training.
The training is action-oriented designed so that participants can experience modern methods in practice. In the
courses are for example the meta-plan method, brainstorming and Mindmapping used. Modern methods are
explained and used in their application by the participants to acquire new knowledge.

At the end of all the courses together with the participants transfer considerations are carried out in compliance
with the conditions of the education and labour market.

Seminar/Workshop:
Seminars serve the academic study of theoretical and practice-related issues in active interaction between
teachers and learners. This can be done in varying forms of work (information representations, presentations,
thesis preparation, discussions) and in groups. An important element in seminars is also the learning by
teaching, i.e. the deepening of knowledge through the mediation of other members of the study group.
Applied didactics of different vocational disciplines

The participants should

- apply theoretical knowledge of the technical disciplines e.g. automotive and renewable energy
technologies;
- understand and structure professional contents;
- develop didactical concepts for their own subject using modern learning and teaching methods
Action-oriented modern methods are used as Case studies, role plays, project work, simulations and other
learner-centred forms of teaching and learning.

Excursion/ Field trip:

For demonstration purposes and information collection excursions/ field trips are organized. Potential targets
of field trips are the education departments of renowned German industrial companies and vocational
schools.
