He said he saw a single headlight in his lane and ‘something came through his windshield. He said he had no time to react and believed the motorcycle had crossed into his lane. He did not know what it was. He said he hit the brakes and slid down the bill with the motorcycle under the truck. There were no skid marks in the road before the area of impact or after. He estimated his speed at 20-30 MPH. He brought his truck to a controlled stop with part of tha motorcycle stil under it. The rest of the motoreycle was found in pieces about half way batwesn the area of impact and Where Mr. Waites's truck stopped. He said his headlights automatically turn on, He said thet after he stopped, he did not approach the motoreyole. He did not look for any riders nor did he even look at damage to his truck, he just stood near his truck and cidn't talk to any of the persons that had by then stopped at the scene. He said he didn't even know that it was a motorcycle nor that there were two riders on it until later. He said he was not on his phone at the time and showed the interviewing detective the ‘more recent phone call (at 1549 hours) and text message (last Sunday 6/23). ‘There are no known witnesses to the collision and a home video from @ house in the area doss shows the collision from afar in black and white.
