Tourist agent: Good morning sir and madam
Tourists: Goog morning!
Tourist agent: Welcome to the Tourism Office in Santa Rosa city
Tourists: Oh, thank you
Tourist agent: Can I help you?
Tourists: Yes, we are sharing a hotel near the city centre.
Tourist agent: Sure, I can offer different hotels. The Calfucura Hotel, the San
Martin Hotel and the Cuprum Hotel.
Tourists: What is the hotel closer to the center?
Tourist agent: The San Martin Hotel is closer than Cumprum Hotel and
Calfucura Hotel.
This hotel is located four blocks from the main square, in the heart of the city.
Tourists: Which is the hotel that has more rooms?
Tourist agent: Is the Calculfucura hotel, has 77 rooms.
Tourists: And, which is the more economical hotel?
Tourist agent: The San Martin Hotel is more economical than Cumprum Hotel
and Calfucura Hotel.
Tourists: Oh, thank you for the information!
Tourist agent: You are welcome, have a nice day!
Introduction
Two foreigners, Rebecca from the United States of America and Abigail from the
United Kingdom. Visited our Tourism Office and the trade market.
Following a survey that we prepared in class, they answered our questions:
The girls mentioned that in the morning the staff introduced themselves and
offered thow a very good map of Santa Rosa city, a bag and nice leaflets, but in
the afternoon they did not speak English. They were not very friendly or helpful
because they did not answer their questions.
Displays
The girls explained that they gave them some leaflets and brochures in Spanish
but not in English or other languages.
The souvenirs on sale were expensive bacause they are handmade products.
The staff did not recommend anithyng and there was not an exhibition anytering.
The web page was not complete and informative. There was not a calendar of
local celebrations or festivals. Fort he kids it was boring because they corred not
use technology.
A better staff attention in the afternoon and bilingual leaflets for the tourist.
The staff at the crafts market recommended our products to the tourist who
can buy handmade products.
Ilntroduce a calendar on the website of local celebrations and festivals.
Introduce epigraph in the potos of local places.
Introduce more technology for the children and tourist, to make info more
interactive.
4 pm: We will visit the Vatican City. We are going to arrive there a bus. We will
have time to visit the San Pedro square and Sistine Chapel.
6 pm: the tourist will visit the Fontana di Trevi. Baroque style is appreciated in
architecture and sculptures. Its beautiful landscape at sunset with the luminary.
10 pm: going to a bar to drink wine and beer.
