HOW TO INSTALL

1. Quit Your DAW
2. Download Mac Files
3. Extract All Folders
4. Install VST File (then restart computer)
5. Install AU File (then restart computer)
6. Open DAW
7. Done

1. Download and Extract Uphoria VST (PC)
2. Copy and Paste Both The .dll File and The .instruments Folder To Your VST Plugins Folder.
3. Open DAW and Rescan For Plugins
4. Done!

This is where your
attack, release, sustain
and decay are. Use
these to adjust the
amplitude of a sound.

LFO
!
This is the LFO. With
it, you can modulate
the pitch, expression
and pan of a sound.
There are 3 different
types of shapes you
can give the LFO.

EFFECTS

This is where your
main effects are. Use
these to change the
feel of a sound.

DIST - This is the distortion knob
that acts as a high pass filter.

CUTOFF - This knob turns the

filters on and off.

REVERB - The reverb is a subtle

small room effect.

GLIDE - Also known as “pitch bend”

can be used to glide or pitch up from
one note to another.

Preset Window:

This is where the preset
window is located.
Here, you can choose
between presets.

MAIN
These are the main
knobs and selections
for the VST.

Pan + Volume Knobs

Top window is where you select
between instrument categories.

The 2nd window is where you choose

between poly, mono, or legato.

The last window is where you can choose

between the low or high pass filters.

LAYERS
The sliders are the layers.

!
!

Blue lights mean they’re on, no light means they’re off.

Each layer is identified as a note, this means when layers are activated, you
aren’t able to play as many notes together at once. The more layers are
activated, the less notes you can play. This usually only effects chord
progressions, as you won’t be able to play a 9th, 11th chord etc.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Installation Problems
!
- Not Working In Logic Pro X
If you are having trouble getting Uphoria to work in Logic, make sure to install the VST file first,
and then the AU file after.

!
- Instruments Not Found
If you are getting an error message that says “instruments not found” you aren’t installing the
plugin right. Make sure to copy both the .dll file and the instruments folder to your VST
plugins folder.
!
Workflow Problems
!
- Can’t Play More Than 4-6 Notes
If you can’t play more than 4-6 notes on Uphoria, you may have some layers active. The layers in
Uphoria act as a note. So, by activating a layer, you are playing one note. To fix this, turn the
layers off. At the moment, there is no way to play 9-11 notes while using the layers.

- Layers Don’t Work In Mono
There is no way around this. It is a bug inside of Uphoria that, unfortunately, can’t be fixed at
the moment. Try using legato instead!
!
- Uphoria Takes A While To Loud
The reason why Uphoria takes a while to loud is because of how many samples are
programmed into Uphoria. There are around 5000 samples inside of Uphoria. This results in
slow loading time. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do about this. When we figure
out a solution, we will release an update!
!
- Only Getting Volume Out Of One Speaker
Make sure the “Pan” knob in Uphoria is set to the middle or any MIDI controller you have set up.

- The Cutoff Isn’t Working
Don’t panic! Sometimes if you move it all the way down, you won’t be able to hear anything.
Move it up a tad bit and it should work.
!
- The High Pass Filter Doesn’t Work
No worries. This one can be a bit confusing. When “high pass” is selected, make sure you have
the cutoff all the way down, Otherwise it won’t work. Then you mess around with the distortion
knob.
!
- The Sustain & Decay Aren’t Working
They do work, however, they are very subtle.

Yes. We will be adding new features and effects to Uphoria such as delay, chorus and more. We
also may update the design of Uphoria as well.

Do you have any tips and tricks for Uphoria?
!
Sure! If you want the live instruments (mallets, guitars etc.) to sound more real, turn up the
release and reverb a little. This makes it sound more authentic as if someone is playing the real
thing! Don’t forget to use the filters on the 808s. Also, for a tremolo effect, set the LFO to pan,
bring the rate up to the 2nd line, and move the depth all the way up.

Can I get a refund?

We do not give refunds. You already own Uphoria!
