ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9000 is maintained
by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and is administered by
accreditation and certification bodies. The rules are updated in time and changes in the
requirements for quality motivate change.

It is widely acknowledged that proper quality management improves business, often


having a positive effect on investment, market share, sales growth, sales margins,
competitive advantage, and avoidance of litigation. “ISO 9000” is a guideline which
provides a comprehensive model for quality management system that can make any

ISO 14001 is a standard for environmental management systems to be implemented
in any business, regardless of size, location or income. The aim of the standard is
to reduce the environmental footprint of a business and to decrease the pollution
and waste that business produces. The ISO 14000 environmental management
standards exist to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively
affect on the environment.

ISO 14000 was first published as a standard in 1996 and it specifies the actual
requirements for an environmental management system. It applies to the
environmental aspects over which an organization has control and where it can be
expected to have an influence.

ISO 31000:2009 | Risk Management System
ISO 31000: Risk Management System was published as a standard on the 13th of
November 2009. This standard is applicable and adaptable for “any public, private
or community enterprise, association, group or individual”.

ISO 31000:2009 provides generic guidelines for the design, implementation


and maintenance of risk management processes throughout an organization.
This approach to formalizing risk management practices will facilitate broader
adoption by companies who require an enterprise risk management standard that
accommodates multiple “silo-centric” management systems.

ISO 20121 is a Management System standard that has been designed to help
organizations in the events industry improve the sustainability of their event related
activities, products and services.
In simple terms, ISO 20121 describes the building blocks of a management system that
will help any event related organization to:

• Become more socially responsible
• Reduce its environmental footprint
ISO 20121 applies to all types and sizes of organization involved in the events industry
from caterers, lighting and sound engineers, security companies, stage builders and

School accreditation is imperative, as it helps facilitate a school into assessing
the quality of their own school through a critical self-study; and development
and monitoring of a school improvement plan. Using established criteria, the
accreditation process allows peer educators and stakeholders alike to understand
a school site’s learning outcomes, and examine programs geared towards student
performance (i.e. evaluating mission and program alignment). The QNSA is a
specialized entity that reviews a school’s self study, validating areas of strength and
