DESCRIPTION

For 2 days from 2 - 3 August 2019, Halopedia Indonesia gathers decision makers, organised civil
society, business, influencers, activists, citizens and most importantly youth of beautiful Palopo
Town, Luwu, Luwu Utara and Luwu Timur Regency to discuss, celebrate and make konsensus about
Indonesian Democracy and how Local Democracy is. Organised within the context of the Alliance
and partnership for Democracy. Youth Democracy Festival serves energise citizens specially youth
across 1 town and 3 regencies and increase Youth to more participate with their ideas for democracy
alive. Youth Democracy Festival creats opportunity to come together and prove that Youth ideals
can reach and take main part of Indonesian and Local Democracy that relevant to Indonesian's day-
to day lives.

OBJECTIVES
1. Bridging the gap between us Youth, Citizens and our Representatives, and reinforcing trust and
optimism in Indonesian and Local Democracy.
2. Encourage Civic Engagement
3. Increase interest in Indonesian and Local Democracy specially for Youth
4. Creating a space where citizens, youth, stakeholders and our elected representatives come
together and engage on the important issues of today.
