Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:


a) identify the different drug which is of abuse and its effect to the human body.
b) value the importance of health through sharing of knowledge about drug abuse.
c) create a poster slogan, jingle and tableau about drug abuse and present it to the class.

Class, last meeting we discussed about the Risk and


Protective Factors in using drugs. To test if you really
understood the lesson, we will have a game. This
game is entitled “This is Me”. All you have to do is to
classify the examples in the board whether it is Risk
factor or Protective factor.

This morning, we will be discussing about
“CLASSIFICATION OF DRUGS OF ABUSE”

Before we proceed to our discussion, I have here class
rules that you are going to follow.

Now, we will be discussing about the classification of
Drugs of Abuse. This time, we will have an activity, I
will group the class into 6 groups according to the
color of your name tags. Each group will choose a
leader and secretary. You will be given a fact sheets
with guide questions that you are going to answer.
The secretary in your group will write your answers in
the given cartolina. You will have 5 minutes to
collaborate with your group, and afterwards the leader
will present your work.

going to present a creative presentation in relation to
what you have learn in our topic today. The leader
will pick an envelope that contains a task that you are
going to present in front. I will give you 10 minutes to
do this activity.
