NO FUNCTION

1. Check:
a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Restriction in suction line (filter, strainer)?
d) Other hydraulic functions of the tractor ok?

2. Check:
Electronic control: a) Error codes joystick and master unit? See chapter Error codes
If present, repair and test system again, ok?

b) Power and ground supply to master unit ok? Connector pins, see chapter
Connectors on Master Unit

c) Connect a pressure gauge to port Pf, See figure 13.


Start the tractor engine, activate tractor remote hydraulics, measure the
pressure, setting 25-28bar. Servo pressure ok?
Yes) Go to step 3
No) Go to chapter No or Poor Servo Pressure

Mechanical control: d) Verify spool movement, joystick, cables and adjustments?


Replace worn or broken parts. Test system again, ok?

3. Check:
Load Sensing valve: a) Activate tractor remote hydraulics at the same time as the loader, does the
LCS system respond?
Yes) Go to chapter No or Poor LS Pressure
No) Go to chapter No Pressure

Open Center valve: b) Dismantle center shunt valve. See figure 2


(serial connected) Check shunt valve and bore for seizure, ok?
Check shunt valve for loose or missing parts, ok?
Replace shunt valve. Test the system again, ok?

Open Center valve: c) Measure pressure at the P port of the valve, ok?
(not serial connected) Yes) Go to step 3b
No) Check pressure supply from tractor for blockage or leakage. Repair
accordingly.

4. Only electronically controlled valve, check:


a) Verify electro servo hydraulic valve spool movement, See figure 5
Check spools, centering spring assy. and bore for seizure, damages etc. Ok?
b) Dismantle LS trigging check valve. See figure 6
Check for restrictions and/or blockages.
Test the system again.

NO PRESSURE

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Restriction in suction line (filter, strainer)?
d) Hydraulic functions of the tractor ok?

2. Check:
a) Measure pressure at P port of the valve, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer
b) Check pressure line installation and hydraulic pump/control of the tractor for blockages.
Repair accordingly.

NO OR POOR LS PRESSURE

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Restriction in suction line (filter, strainer)?
d) Hydraulic functions of the tractor ok?
e) Loader valve operation, ok?
Yes) Go to step 3
No) Go to chapter No Function

2. Check:
Measure LS pressure at the LS port while operating the loader, is there any pressure?
Yes) Go to step 3
No) Go to chapter No Pressure

3. Check:
Check LS line and shuttle valves between pump regulator and LCS valve for restrictions and/or
internal/external leakage.

4. Check:
Signal pressure (LS) connection to tractor LS circuit correct? Refer to tractor technical manual.

5. Dismantle the LS check valves. See figure 7


Inspect LS check valve for loose or broken parts, ok?

6. Check:
Dismantle center LS spool valve. See figure 1
Inspect LS spool valve for loose, missing or broken parts, ok?
Replace LS spool valve. Test the system again, ok

NO OR POOR SERVO PRESSURE

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Restriction in suction line (filter, strainer)?
d) Hydraulic functions of the tractor ok?
e) External oil leakages LCS valve?

2. Check:
a) Connect a pressure gauge to port Pf, See figure 13.
Start the tractor engine, activate tractor remote hydraulics, measure the pressure, setting 25-28bar.
Servo pressure ok?
Yes) Electronic error, see chapter Error codes
No) Go to step 3

3. Check:
Load Sensing valve: a) Activate tractor remote hydraulics, does the servo pressure increase?
Yes) Go to chapter No Function step 4
No) Go to step 4

Open Center valve: b) Activate tractor remote hydraulics, does the servo pressure increase?
(serial connected) Yes) Go to chapter No Function step 4
No) Go to step 4
c) Dismantle and inspect shunt valve. See figure 2
d) Dismantle and inspect LS triggering check valve. See figure 6
Test the system again, ok?

Open Center valve: e) Measure pressure at the P port of the valve, ok?
(not serial connected) Yes) Go to step 3b
No) Check pressure supply from tractor for blockage or leakage. Repair
accordingly.

4. Check:
a) Dismantle and inspect all PWM solenoid valves for damages, torn o-rings etc. See figure 11
Test the system again, ok?
b) Dismantle and inspect accumulator piston for damages, torn o-rings etc. See figure 10
Test the system again, ok?
c) Dismantle and inspect servo pressure reducing valve for damages, ok?
Replace servo pressure reducing valve.
Test the system again, ok?

LOW WORKING PRESSURE

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Hydraulic system overheating?
d) Foam in oil?
e) All other functions of the tractor ok?

2. Carry out a performance test of the tractors hydraulic pump, pressure/flow as specified by the
tractor manufacturer.
Repair or replace worn or broken parts. Test the system again, ok?

3. Measure pressure at the P port of the valve. Tractor engine speed high idle.

Load Sensing valve: Stroke a cylinder of the loader against mechanical stop and measure the
Pressure at the P port, see chapter Valve configuration.
Setting: 170bar+tractor standby pressure, refer to tractor specifications.
Check and correct tractor standby pressure if set too low.
Replace LS spool valve, see figure 1.

Open Center valve: Stroke a cylinder of the loader against mechanical stop and measure the
pressure at the P port, see chapter Valve configuration..
Setting: 190+-10bar at 60l/min. flow.
Replace OC shunt valve if set too low, see figure 2.

LOW PRESSURE BOOM LOWERING FUNCTION

1. Pressure correct on all other functions?


Repair accordingly. Test the system again, ok?

2. Dismount quick coupler or JIC adapter port B1


Lift up and inspect anti cavitation valve for damages, restrictions etc. See figure 3.
Replace anti cavitation valve if necessary. Test the system again, ok?

LOW PRESSURE TILT OUT FUNCTION

1. Pressure correct on all other functions?


Repair accordingly. Test the system again, ok?

2. Dismount quick coupler or JIC adapter port A2


Lift up and inspect anti cavitation valve for damages, restrictions etc. See figure 3.
Replace anti cavitation valve if necessary. Test the system again, ok?

LOW LIFT POWER

1. Pressure correct on all other functions?


Repair accordingly. Test the system again, ok?

2. Dismount quick coupler or JIC adapter port A1


Lift up and inspect chock/anti cavitation (if fitted) valve for damages, restrictions etc. See figure 4.
Replace chock/anti cavitation valve if necessary. Test the system again, ok?

HIGH OIL TEMPERATURE

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Hydraulic oil cooler of the tractor clean from dust and dirt?
d) Engine cooler fan ok?
e) All other component of the tractor ok

2. Measure system standby pressure. Refer to tractor specifications.


If standby pressure is incorrect, refer to:

Load Sensing valve: See chapter Hydraulic pump stay on load LS valve.
Open Center valve: See chapter Hydraulic pump stay on load OC valve.

TRACTOR HYDRAULIC FUNCTIONS OUT OF ORDER, LOADER VALVE WORKS

1. Dismantle PB hose and PB adapter

2. Dismantle heating cartridge, see figure 12


Check heating cartridge for damages, missing parts etc.
Replace heating cartridge. Test the system again, ok?

HYDRAULIC PUMP STAY ON LOAD, LS VALVE

Valve port configuration, See chapter Valve configuration.

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Hydraulic system overheating?

2. Check with the engine running at idle and no active loader functions:
Measure standby pressure at P port of the valve, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Go to step 3
No) Go to step 4

3. Check:
Operate the loader several times (full cylinder stroke), does the standby pressure return to
normal after operation?
Yes) System normal.
No) Go to step 4

4. Check with the engine running at idle and no active loader functions:
Measure pressure at LS port of the valve?
0-2 bar: Check and correct the LS hydraulic system of the tractor.
>2 bar: Go to step 5

5. Plug the LS port and LS hose at the LCS valve:


Measure standby pressure at P port of the valve with the engine running and no hyd. functions active.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Go to step 6
No) Check and correct the LS hydraulic system of the tractor.

6.1 Electronic control: LS hose connected, engine at idle rpm, no loader functions active.

Measure standby pressure at P port, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.


a) Electronic system shut off, standby pressure ok?
Yes) Electronic error, See chapter Error codes
No) Go to next step

b) Connect a hose to port Pf and drain the servo pressure to a bucket, see figure 13.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Internal leakage in servo top component, see chapter
Sticking/leaking PWM valve and No or poor servo pressure, step 4
No) Go to step 7

6.2 Mechanical control: LS hose connected, engine at idle rpm, no loader functions active.

Measure standby pressure at P port, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.


a) Check spool movement, joystick, cables and neutral adjustment?
Replace worn or broken parts. Standby pressure, ok?
Yes) Problem solved
No) Go to step 7

7. a) Remove:
Electronic control: Master unit and servo top, see figure 14 and 15
Mechanical control: Cap over spool valves, see figure 16

b) Check:
Lift up and check bucket & boom spool valves and spring centering assy. for damages and seizures etc.
See figure 5

c) Check:
Dismantle regenerative LS signal check valve, use the threaded hole (M6) to lift up the valve. See figure 3
Inspect part for restrictions or damages.

8. Reassemble all parts.


Run the engine at idle rpm, no loader functions active.
Measure standby pressure at P port, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Problem solved
No) Tractor: Internal leakage of the LS system to the LS line.
LCS Valve: Mechanical damage or worn spool valve/bore.

HYDRAULIC PUMP STAY ON LOAD, OC VALVE

Valve port configuration, See chapter Valve configuration.

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Hydraulic system overheating?

2. Check with the engine running at idle and no active loader functions:
a) Measure standby pressure at P port of the valve, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Go to step 3
No) Go to step 4

3. Check:
Operate the loader several times, does the standby pressure go to normal after operation.
Yes) System normal.
No) Go to step 4

4.1 Electronic control: Engine at idle rpm, no loader functions active.


Measure standby pressure at P port, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.
a) Electronic system shut off, standby pressure ok?
Yes) Electronic error, See chapter Error codes
No) Go to next step

b) Connect a hose to port Pf and drain the servo pressure to a bucket, see figure 13.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Sticking solenoid valve, Go to chapter Sticking/leaking PWM solenoid
No) Go to step 5

4.2 Mechanical control: Engine at idle rpm, no loader functions active.

Measure standby pressure at P port, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.


a) Check spool movement, joystick, cables and neutral adjustment?
Replace worn or broken parts. Standby pressure, ok?
Yes) Problem solved
No) Go to step 5

5. a) Remove:
Electronic control: Master unit and servo top, see figure 14 and 15
Mechanical control: Cap over spool valves, see figure 16

b) Check:
Lift up and inspect spool valves for bucket & boom for damages and seizures etc. See figure 5

c) Check:
Dismantle regenerative LS signal check valve, use the threaded hole (M6) to lift up the valve. See figure 3
Check part for restrictions or damages.

6. Reassemble all parts.


Run the engine at idle rpm, no loader functions active.
Measure standby pressure at P port, pressure as specified by the tractor manufacturer.
Standby pressure ok?
Yes) Problem solved
No) Mechanical damage or worn spool valve/bore.
Replace valve.

STICKING/LEAKING PWM SOLENOID VALVE

1. Disconnect hydraulic interface to the loader.

2. Connect pressure gauge to one loader outlet port at the time.


Engine at idle rpm, electronic system turned off.
Measure pressure.
If pressure is present, dismantle and inspect PWM solenoid valve. See figure 11
Replace PWM valve if necessary. Test the system again, ok?

3. Remove Master unit and servo top, see figure 14 and 15


Lift up and inspect spool valves for bucket & boom for damages and seizures etc. See figure 5

LOWERING MOVEMENT STOPS AFTER SOME SECONDS

1. Check and correct:


a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Hydraulic system overheating?
d) All other functions of the loader ok?

2. a) Remove:
Electronic control: Master unit and servo top, see figure 14 and 15
Mechanical control: Cap over spool valves, see figure 16

b) Check:
Lift up and inspect spool valves for bucket & boom for damages and seizures etc. See figure 5

c) Check:
Dismantle regenerative LS signal check valve, use the threaded hole (M6) to lift up the valve. See figure 3
Check part for restrictions or damages.

FLOAT POSITION DOES NOT WORK

1. Check:
Mechanical control: Check spool movement, joystick, cables and adjustments?
Replace worn or broken parts. Test the system again, ok?

Electronic control: a) Make sure float position is activated, symbol will appear in display.
b) Measure servo pressure at port Pf with the tractor engine running,
setting 25-28bar?
Yes) Go to step 2
No) Go to chapter No or poor servo pressure

2. Measure the current to PWM solenoid valve B1 (boom) or A2 (bucket) with a suitable current clamp.
Connector pins, see chapter Connectors on Master Unit
Start the engine, operate float position, measure the current.
>1100mA: Go to step 3
<1100mA: Electronic problem, check master unit, harness and connectors.
Replace broken parts. Test the system again, ok?

3. Shift position between faulty PWM solenoid and another solenoid valve.
Start the engine, operate float position, ok?
Yes) Replace faulty PWM valve
No) Dismount spool valve, inspect spool valve, bore and spring etc. for
damages. Replace broken parts. Test the system again, ok?

SLOW LOADER MOVEMENT

1. Check:
a) Hydraulic oil level?
b) Correct oil type in the system?
c) Restriction in suction line (filter, strainer)?
d) Other hydraulic functions of the tractor ok?

2. Check:
Electronic control: Turtle mode activated?
Error codes joystick and master unit? See chapter Error codes
If present, repair and test system again, ok?

Power and ground supply to master unit ok? Connector pins, see chapter
Connectors on Master Unit

Mechanical control: Check spool movement, joystick, cables and adjustments?


Replace worn or broken parts. Test system again, ok?

3. Carry out a performance test of the tractors hydraulic pump, pressure/flow as specified by the tractor
manufacturer. Repair or replace worn or broken parts. Test the system again, ok?

4. Check:
Load Sensing valve: Run the engine at high idle rpm. Activate tractor remote hydraulics at the
same time as the loader, does the loader speed increase?

Yes) Go to chapter No or poor LS pressure.


No) Max. regulated flow of the LCS valve reached.
Electronic control: See also chapter No or poor servo pressure.

Open Center valve: Dismantle center shunt valve. See figure 2


Check shunt valve and bore for seizure, ok?
Check shunt valve for loose or missing parts, ok?
Replace shunt valve. Test the system again, ok?
