How to compute:
Payment of Textbook= (Unit Price of Textbook) – (Unit Price of Textbook) / (Lifespan of Textbook) * (# of
Years Used of Textbook)

Payment per Textbook = P25.84 – ((25.84)/(5)) * (2)

Payment per Textbook = P25.84 – P10.34
Payment per Textbook = P15.50

THEREFORE:

for 7 copies payment for Textbooks = (P15.50) * (7)

for 7 copies payment for Textbooks= P108.53

Important Notes:
1. Please get the unit price of textbooks and the number of years it was used from the library-in-charge or
see it on the next pages. Kindly recompute the depreciation cost of the textbooks. Identify the old books
from the new ones. Please be honest in determining the new from the old books.
2. Kindly tie separately the old books from the new ones.
2. Return the books in the library in bundles (10 pcs of textbooks/bundle) by tying it up.
3. Submit the books together with your liquidation report and payment on or before March 29, 2019. Once
the transaction was over, no more addition and subtraction of payments after. Reports will be submitted to
the division office on or before April 2, 2019.
4. Same process will be followed for those who had unsettled accounts last year.
5. Hoping that everyone will settle their book accounts this School Year.
