Materials
Worsted Weight yarn- 16 oz white (MC, 9 oz red (CC)
Size I (5.5mm) Hook
Scissors
Yarn Needle

Stitches
CH- Chain
SC- Single Crochet
SlSt- Slip Stitch
St(s)- Stitch(es)
Sc2tog- Single Crochet 2 Together

SPECIAL STITCHES USED

Linking Double Crochet (LDC)
Insert hook into horizontal bar of previous stitch, YO and draw up a loop.
Insert hook into next stitch from previous row and draw up a loop. YO and
draw through two loops twice.

Foundation Linking Double Crochet (FLDC)

Insert hook into horizontal bar of previous stitch, YO and draw up a loop.
Insert hook into the same stitch as previous stitch from previous row and
draw up a loop. YO and draw through 1 loop (ch made), YO pull through 2
loops twice

Linking Half Double Crochet (LHDC)

Insert hook into horizontal bar of previous stitch, or into front leg of previous
LHDC, YO and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next stitch from previous row
and draw up a loop. YO and draw through all three loops.

Linking Double Crochet 2 together (LDC2tog)

Insert hook into horizontal bar of previous stitch, YO and draw up a loop.
Insert hook into next stitch from previous row and
draw up a loop. YO and draw through two loops, then Insert hook into front
leg of same stitch and draw up another loop (3 loops). Insert hook into next
stitch from previous row and draw up a loop (4 loops on hook). YO and pull
through 2 loops, YO and draw through all three loops.

Beginning Linking Double Crochet (BegLDC)

Insert hook into 2nd ch from hook and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next
ch and draw up a loop. YO and draw through two loops, twice.

Linking Half Double Crochet 2 together (LHDC2tog)

Insert hook into horizontal bar of previous stitch, or into front leg of the
previous LHDC, and pull up a loop. Insert hook into next stitch from previous
row and draw up a loop. YO and insert hook into next, pull up loop. YO and
draw through all 5 loops.

Yarn Medley’s from the Heart Gamer Scoodie

Row 38-47: (or desired scarf width) Repeat row 37.

Finish off.

Repeat row 1-35 in red to make lining of hood.

To attach red lining, with right side of white facing you, place the wrong
side of red to the wrong side of white and SC around edging.

When joining the lining with scarf, join the bottom edge of red to row 35 of
the hood.

Finish off and weave in ends.
