I would like to apply for the position of Native English Teacher.

I have over 8 years of teaching experience which includes working at different primary schools, international
kindergartens and learning centers in Hong Kong.

I feel that being a teacher is a wonderful job that I truly enjoy. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy working
with young children because they are happy, fun and full of life. I believe that being a child is quite often the
happiest moment in life for many people and I hope to bring a lot of happiness and enjoyment to my student’s
classes. I relate very well to young children and always get along wonderfully with my students. I am friendly, polite
and always punctual. I have a lot of patience with children and teach with enthusiasm in class. I have been a caring
and responsible teacher when supervising many children of different ages and abilities. I also have a lot of
experience creating and preparing lesson plans and working together with co-teachers, whom I get along with
exceptionally well. Encouragement is also very important and I always like to give positive compliments to my
student’s which helps their confidence grow, making them perform higher and building their social skills. Like all
teachers I too have my own style of teaching but I am always flexible with different types of teaching methods and
open to advice and new ideas. I feel confident in my teaching abilities and I take time to plan, prepare and create
original lesson plans. I want to motivate all of my students so that every time they come to my class they really want
to learn the English language. I also wish to learn from my own students about their culture and their way of life. I
hope to have a bright future in Hong Kong and I look forward to working at an excellent school with positive and
caring teachers.
