Instructions/Policy:

1. We will start from Chapter 2: Election Law for our first meeting. Note that recitation
is detailed and precise in my class
2. Midterm exam coverage: All other laws except Constitutional Law (i.e. from Chapter
2: Election Law until we finish Chapter 6: Public International Law)
a. Midterm exam bonus questions: All latin maxims/terms in Public International
Law, their literal translation, concept/definition, and application in
international law. There are 13 of them in my course syllabus, if you will notice.
3. Final exam coverage: The entire Chapter 1: Constitutional Law
a. Final exam bonus questions: State Secs. 1-22 of the Bill of Rights, verbatim!
4. If you absent yourself in excess of the allowable absences set by the school, you will
get an automatic “Dropped” mark. But since you paid the tuition, you are still free to
come to my class and listen to the lectures.
5. For our first meeting, prepare a 1/8 size index card (the size of your class cards) with
1x1 photo pasted on the upper most right corner of the card. On the left side portion
of the index card, write in your name, job, workplace/agency, prelaw course, prelaw
school, and contact number. Absent of this, you will not be able to be called during
recitations so you will be marked “5” for the number of meetings you failed to submit
this index card.
6. We will strictly follow the school policy regarding marking absent students who come
late to class in excess of the allowable minutes set therefor. This is your last chance to
“really learn” this subject before the Bar exam, so I want you to have all the
motivations and time to do this.

Coverage of your assignment for our first meeting:

“Chapter 2: Election Law” up to “Certificates of Candidacy (COC)” or until you finish

reading “Petition to Deny Due Course to or Cancel COC For False Material Representation in
the COC (OEC, Sec. 78) vs. Petition for Quo Warranto (OEC, Sec. 253)” in your course syllabus.
