After the motivation the reporter started their discussion about marxism that was led by Cloister
Capanan, Rhas Mia Abugan, Ericka Ilumba, Prince Mandane and Princess Aclan. They discussed the
meaning of Marxism, its founders, the biographies of the founders and the roots of the Marxism itself.
They also discussed the criticisms on Marxism and the relevance of Marx’s and Engels’ idea on
Capitalism and the government in today’s era, the 21st Century. They also discussed elaborately the
idea of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels so that the students won’t be misled. They made sure that the
students will fully understand the message that the founders of Marxism wanted to convey for any
misleading information can cause conflict within the students minds.
12 HUMSS B at Cyberlab

On the second day of report which was held on the 8th day of
July, they discussed the essential points in studying Marxism
as well as the three C’s ( Conflict, Capitalism, Communism)
that would help the students understand better the topic that
was discussed. Shane Morano clarified questions and
confusions about Hegel’s philosophy, the Dialectical
Materialism also known as “Dialectics”.

After all the clarifications about the topic (Marxism), the


reporters summarized all the terms and ideas on Marxism and
chunked it down for better understanding. When the
summarization was done, the reporters proceeded with the
quiz that would identify the understanding of the students on
the report.
