Sorority Disbands and Makes Donation to Clinic

The Preceptor Zeta
is the third-degree chap-
ter in Beta Sigma Phi in
Minnedosa. The chapter
was chartered on May 15th,
1974. The Beta Sigma Phi
is for members who have
been in the sorority for 25
years or more. Sorority was
formed for social and cul-
tural reasons. Members
met up twice a month at
each other’s homes and
socialized, ate and learned

ladies of the group wel-
comed them when they
first joined after moving
to the community and that
they still have some of their
best friends from the group
to this day. “It was a great
thing for me when I moved
to town,” said Koetke. “I
met so many wonderful
people and learned about
the town when we first ar-
rived. It was a great oppor-
tunity for new comers.”
In the spring of 2018,
the sorority members de-
cided to become inactive
for many reasons, one
being a decline in mem-
bership. With an average
membership of approxi-

On the afternoon of Thursday, July 11th sirens sounded for an accident at

the north intersection of Highway #16 and #10. A truck heading south on
Highway #10 was making a turn onto Highway #16 when a car heading
north on Highway #10 struck the truck. No serious injuries were reported at
the time of the accident, however both vehicles had extensive damage.
