Precept Upon Precept I JOHN Lesson 2

"I have written that you may know you have eternal life."
And THIS IS THE MESSAGE......
God is LIGHT And in Him there is No DARKNESS at all
John1:4-9 John 3:19-21
LIFE = Light of men Men loved the darkness, rather than the light
shines in the darkness for the darkness were evil
not "overcome" by the darkness hates the light
do not come to the light...lest his deeds be exposed

John 8:12
(Jesus) I am the LIGHT of the world
he who follows Me shall NOT walk in darkness
but shall have the light of life

John 11:9-10
he who walks in the day does NOT stumble
he who walks in the night, stumbles because there is NO light
John 12:35-36
Believe in the light, to become sons of light

I John 2:7-11
he who loves his brother, abides in the light
does not stumble he who says he is in the light, but hates his brother
is in the dark
Eph 5:1-13
You were formerly darkness, now you are the light of the Lord
Wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience
Walk as children of the light
Fruit of the light: goodness, righteousness, truth,
trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know over what they stumble.
