Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of today and for the gift

of our children. We humbly ask you to bless each and everyone of us

here and also our loved ones who are not with us today. As we are
gathered here this morning to aknowledge and appreciate the
success of your little children, who will also be good examples to
their peers and schoolmates. Give them clearness of mind to move
forward into the plans and purposes that You have for them. May
these children gain wisdom from You and have discernment for
proper behavior. We pray that they will rise above ungodly
behaviors and have the boldness to stand up for what is right
wherever they study, or socialize. Grant them success for their
efforts at every turn and guide their feet to follow Your ways. May
Your hand of protection be about them, and may Your Word continue
to be a light unto their path. Help them to make wise decisions and
to always keep You first in everything that they do.

Lord, we also ask you to bless us, the teachers of this school. Help
us to remember the greateness of the work which has been given
to us to do ; that we work with the most precious materials in the
world ; the minds of young children. Help us always to remember
that we are making marks upon that mind which time can never
erase.

Give us patience with those who are slow to learn and even with
those who refuse to learn. When we have to exercise discipline ;
help us to do so in sterness and yet in love. Keep us from the
sarcastic and biting tongue and help us always to encourage those
who are doing their best, even if that best is not very good. Help us
to help the pupils not only to store things in their memories but also
to think for themselves. And amidst all the worries and frustrations
of our job, help us to remember that the future of the nation is in
our hands.
We ask all these through Christ our Lord. Amen.

them to believe in the goodness of life even when faced
challenge and difficulties. As they commence with their
lives, may they grow ever more grateful and wise.

We ask all these through Jesus Christ, our Lord who lives
and reigns with you, Amen.
