applications for barangay clearance on a fast and most efficient way. It was developed originally for the
Barangay Net Alliance and first implemented in select pilot barangays in Cebu City. The system is one of
the e-Barangay services that are offered free to the barangays. In addition, the information is stored in a
database for storage and retrieval. The database is web enabled so the BCAS can be used to cross check
whether applications have records in other barangays.
