Release Overview
Following the previous release of AxTraxNG V 27.5.7.16 (15 January 2019), this release of AxTraxNG v27.6.1.6 is the newest
major release version of the v27.6.x.x and aligns all of the latest bug fixes and system optimization of all major cases encountered
since the last release. This optimized system has undergone automated testing and live site optimization in systems with hundreds
of control panels.
Biometric Fingerprint Management – Integration – RosslareBio™ 8000 Series: We have added integration to two new fingerprint
and RFID terminals and an enrollment station, making it easier than ever to add fingerprint level security to your systems.
Support for the DR-U955BT – Triple Technology RF- USB Desktop Enrollment Station: This USB credential enrollment station
is used to enroll Rosslare BLE-ID, UHF, and smart card CSN to the system.
An Easy Way to deploy User Dual Authentication – This is an essential module that supports our new readers and lets the system
admin deploy dual factor authentication (Fingerprint+Card, BLE-ID+Card, UHF-ID+BLE-ID, PIN + Card). This new feature can
be selected on a reader-by-reader basis for any Rosslare reader and for any two credentials.
Credential-Type – Distinction In-System – Support for all types of credentials: The ability to have a type assigned to credentials:
Card, BLE, UHF, NFC, Fingerprint, License plate, and PIN code. In a security environment where many different types of readers
are deployed within systems, the system operator will need to know the event logs and the reports by credential type.
Supports Hikvision LPR unique conversion table of alphanumeric license plate for car parking applications when using a very
specific LPR camera from Hikvision. The new server is able to integrate the LPR function into a Wiegand ID, and deploy the LPR
to any user as a credential type. The license plate may be enrolled by data entry via the client interface or live on LPR camera
directly to the system and added to any access user.
The release of AxTraxNG is the newest version that optimizes the full series of control panels sold during 2018 it is the most up-
to-date alignment of all the control panel hardware.
We recommend this for system-wide updates for systems with AC-825IP, including updating the firmware of all the panels in the
system. We recommend this version for all new installations.

 User Dual Authentication
 Easily select any reader to be a dual-factor authentication for HIGH SECURITY and GREAT USER EXPERIENCE
 Users will need to provide any combination of any ID in their credentials list.
 Ability to add a user characteristic for immunity for any user – this user will be immune from dual factor authentication
and may present any one credential
 By having to present a second factor for authentication, system access is constrained to those who possess two factors
(prevents use of found or stolen cards/tags).
 This supports two sessions of User Dual factor authentication per reader
 Credential Type – Distinction In-System – Support for all types of credentials

6. Miscellaneous
 It is very important to make sure that the boot loaders that are in the control panels and expansions are matched with the
version of the control panels so that the firmware update process is successful.
 Boot loaders for the control panels and expansions are not public information for this Release Notes and are only known by
Global Tech Support Group (TSG) and Rosslare Manufacturing teams.
