O verbo Haver / Existir em inglês se escreve There to be e é bastante simplificado na sua forma de conjugação nos tempos
presente (There is – Há / Existe - There are – Há / Existem), pretérito (there was - Havia/ existia - there were –
Havia/Existiam ) e futuro (there will be- Haverá / Existirá). Na forma negativa acrescenta-se a palavra not: There is not /
There are not ou There was not / There were not ou There will not be. Na forma interrogativa apresenta-se assim: Are
there...? / Is there...? ou Was there...? /Were there...? ou Will there be...?
There is a dog on that street. There are dogs on that street.
