I. Objectives
A. Content Standard The learner
Demonstrates understanding of fitness and exercise in fitness and exercise in optimizing one’s health as a habit; as requisite for PA
performance, and as a career opportunity.

B. Performance Standard The learner


Leads fitness events with proficiency and confidence resulting in independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.

C. Learning At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:

Engage in physical activities inside and outside of school

A. Motivational Activity Present pictures of types of fitness exercise.
Ask the students if they involve on such exercises being presented.
B. Reviewing Past ASK: How do you start your day in the morning?
Lesson/Presentation of Do you walk, jog, or simply make some bending or jumping exercise?

Ask the student to perform the following exercises.
A. Neck exercises
B. Arms and chest exercises
C. Trunks exercises
D. Legs and feet exercises

D. Presentation, Discussion about types of fitness exercises and health benefits in participating exercise.

E. Generalization Enumerate the three types of fitness exercises.
Give example of each exercises.
F. Application Circuit Training
Procedure:
Draw 3 stations on the ground with designation for each type of exercise.
Divide the class into 3 groups.Assign a group leader.
Students will perform the exercise in their particular areas. The leader may give instructions on what exercises to execute.
After 3 minutes the group will rotate and will move to another station to perform the types of exercises assigned in that rotation.

V. Assessment Answer the following questions:


1. What are the three types of exercises? Explain each type.
2. Give the benefits that can be derived from these types of exercises.
3. Identify the following exercises whether they are aerobic, anearobic, or flexibility exercises.
4. Enumerate examples of activities that you usually do under each of the following types of exercises. Give at least 3 examples for each type.
