Significant Scientific Contributions

• Provided mode-matched solutions to some structural acoustic problems which are frequently used as HVAC
systems.
• Laid mathematical foundations for some diffraction problems associated with attenuating acoustic and elec-
tromagnetic waves, elastic and viscoelastic waves and attenuating waves thereby compensating for the effects of
attenuation artifacts.
• Developed and analyzed an asymptotic mathematical framework for some diffraction problems using generalized
Gamma functions.
