  For the start up factor "sFact" you need to know, if a clutch is attached to the electric motor. If this is
(mostly) the case, please enter the value "1.0". If no clutch is attached please enter the value "1.6".

  To get the bearing distance ("L"), you need the distance between the bearings (“center").

Manual calculation program

Bending moment calculation

bearing distance L

  The distance between the bearings is from bearing center to bearing center. Example for
calculation: bearing spacing (3300mm), minus (-) away from the center of the first bearing (35mm)
minus (-) is away from the center of the second bearing (35mm) (=) bearing distance (L = 3230mm)

  For this area you need the distance between the bearing ("center") and the
locking assemblies ("center").

Calculation example:

Bearing distance to the drum (400mm) minus(-)

distance from the center of the bearing (35mm)
distance a
plus (+) distance outer edge of the drum to the
locking assemblies (140mm) plus (+) Distance
of the clamping set top edge for clamping set
(55mm) minus (-) half of the clamping width
(155mm : 2 = 77,5mm) results (=) 482,5mm.

  The distance ("a") from the bearing center to the middle of the locking assemblies have to be
calculated.
