To successfully transition my fashion career into a strong corporate role. So far in my career I have worked as a successful
associate, leading small teams at a time, to handle given projects by the management. I am yet to experience the role of
decision making. I now intend to metamorphose into a role that will nurture me so as to be at the helm of an organization in the
years to come and that is the reason why I chose to pursue MBA.
Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, has the authentic culture of discipline and integrity which is prevalent in all the
Xaviers’ Institutes. The rigorous curriculum which keeps us all on our toes every waking hour of our life here, is the key to
learning how to handle all kinds of situations out there in the industry. Moreover, the Jesuit culture which preaches about “the
challenge to strive for excellence” is the driving force which made me choose this Institute to study at.
Having already worked in the Operations division of my previous employer, I enjoy working in that domain better than others.
Also belonging from the fashion industry, the type of operational work that I have experienced is quite different from that of the
other industries. Hence in order to gain more experience in the field of operations with respect to any industry is what I am
looking forward to and working towards. Also Cognizant being an IT giant, which provides various services also to different
sectors of different industry, it will be the ideal platform for me to experience more diverse operational management in various
industries all at one place.
