 INTRODUCTION

Due to continuous change in the environment, computers becomes closer to everyday

life, computers are already seen everywhere at school or work and at home. Daily
activities either involve the use of or depend on information from a computer. As
technology spreads the demand of efficient and fast transaction in business world also
increases. The use of any online system through the computer enables businesses,
companies, government and private agency to perform task more easily and fast. One of
the businesses in local area is Clinic-Related business and still using an old system of
recording, which is done manually where it consumes more space, time, paper and other
problem redundancy to find or store the patient information.

Nowadays, there are a lot of clinics in Mandaluyong. People who suffer from sick or pain
will visit the clinic which nearby their location. However, the staff in the clinic still using
manual because of these manual operations are done by the doctor/clinic it may slow
down the procedure in many ways. Once a system can manage the business process, a lot
of works can automate and no need manual operation. The current clinic system available
in the market is just replace the paperwork by using computer and store the data in the
database. The system is very liable and faster and more usable if it is made online. The
Clinic Management System is a big help to manage the patients record. Recording is one
of the important done by the Doctors.

The proponents will provide Clinic Management System to propose, design and to
develop accurate reports which wants to minimal the workloads and process time. It will
help to reduce the number of lost record for the patient. At the same time, it will improve
the data retrieval. It will be easier for the staff of the clinic to retrieve back the record of
existing patient and doctor may view the patient history.
