Aims & Objectives
In the present era of clean energy and mitigation of carbon
emission, renewable energy sources (Solar, Wind, Bio-gas,
Micro and Mini Hydel etc.) have become the need of the hour.
In addition to this, power system and demand side management
can be addressed by the extensive use of energy storage devices
whose efficient integration with renewable energy sources is a
challenge. In order to make the integrated system smart in op-
eration we need intelligent communication platform and various
smart technologies (IoT based, wireless communication). The
entire system monitoring and control is to be executed by auto-
mation and supervisory control schemes.
