of BDO and Metrobank

Management

This project is aimed at understanding the concept of online banking system. Online

Banking means internet banking or modern banking or electronic banking. In this method,

customer gets his bank account ID and password and he can check his account, pay his bill and

print his receipt through his home personal computer or through his mobile phone that has the

mobile application of their bank which is connected with Internet. Online banking is

development of today banking system.

The main aim of this dissertation is to study the online banking services featured and to

see if there’s a significant difference between the online banking system of the top commercial

banks in the Philippines which are the BDO and Metrobank.

We choose these two banks because it is one of the biggest and the top 2 commercial

banks in the Philippines in terms of assets. Also these two banks have common only banking
services. We would like to know if these online banking services are really beneficial to the

clients and to see if there’s a difference between the online banking services of the two banks

and also to introduce additional explanations and information on these two banks.
