Culture

Rap has come a far way from its beginnings from bronx

We have seen the way people think and share their personal freedoms. It has helped in
the growth of the African-American Community in TV,Films,Fashion and of course the
music world.

Psychedelic Rock -it is evident in the history that the 1960s was the era of “The Hippie
Movement”. Although, this movement had its roots in the social movements of the 19th
century Europe, it was a new wave of social recognition and rebel against system and
norms of society. The fundamental idea of this movement was to create and follow the
“Counterculture”, hence gaining the title of “Counterculture of the 1960s”

it always reflects what's going on politically,
socially,

Counterculture

Though not new themes, many of the aspects of rap that have been pointed out by
politicians as "objectionable"--violence, misogyny, and homophobia in the lyrics and
lifestyles of some rappers--may be seen as a function of rap's commodification.
Lyrics

The lyrics in psychedelic rock are usually dark and sometimes tend not to make
sense, considering most were influenced by drugs. They were stream of consciousness
lyrics that usually draw attention to drug use and social issues.Lyrics are usually open to
interpretation.

Rap lyrics are extremely complex and dense. It includes almost everything.
