ABSTRACT
The seminar is about repair and rehabilitation of concrete structure with latest
techniques .the various causes of structural failure and principles of rehabilitation of structures
are discussed .Major repair that are to be carried out in RCC structures and brick walls, plaster
wall are explained in detail and an in depth analysis into reinforced cement concrete repair
options like shot create method (Guniting) and form and pump method.
This present an analysis of concrete illnesses curing treatment, and problems leading
to unsatisfactory performances of repair concrete structure. this describes the types of surface
presentations that are commonly adopt has in Indian conditions and their limitations. An
attempt has been made in this paper to discuss the properties and type of grouts.
The presentation of this paper to highlight the method of repair and rehabilitation to
be undertaken for structures with defects and deficiencies that necessitate rehabilitation. Repair
and rehabilitation method currently used are reviewed on the basis of present knowledge and
the merit of holistic system approach.
