PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

 Project Title: DRUG EDUCATION SYMPOSIUM 2019

Php 30 CFS and DCJE officers
 Budget Requirement: Php 4,300
 Purpose of Budget: Symposium as required in the curriculum
and as part of the Annual Operational
Plan of DCJE and CFS Organization

II. BACKGROUND, SITUATION ANALYSIS

The Department of Criminal Justice Education in its continuous efforts of


providing such quality education imparted towards clientele therefore
implement activities to further enhance the skills and knowledge as stipulated in
the Curriculum of the students enrolled in Criminology Degree Course, thereby,
upholding the institution’s outcomes based for the Student’s Learning Criterion.

Moreover, the activity motivates the students to do better in perspective of


their educational concerns, to help students uplift knowledge, skills and attitudes
to appreciate the benefits of living healthily, promotes responsibility towards the
use of drugs and relate these to their own actions and those of others, both now
and in their future lives. This activity envisioned to strengthen students learning
outcome and by beseeching information from their field of expertise.

Thus, the implementation of Drug Symposium which aligned with the


Criminology Curriculum and Annual Operational Plan of the department will
support our students achieve the core values of UM Digos College. These

activities also aim to boost the desire ofstudents to become responsible and
successful professionals in the future.

III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

IV. DESIRED IMPACT AND OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT

 This project charted its long-term effects to the target beneficiaries not
only in becoming culturally and morally upright individuals, but also to
help them realize the value of seeking higher education, promote
harmony in our society and become an agent for change which will
further rebound to economic and socially maturity of our country.

V. RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN

 The risks and factors that may hamper or hinder the successful
implementation of project activities and achievement of project outputs
are so follows:

1. Delays of Request due to strict implementation of Financial Due


Diligence. This problem will be a challenging in terms of collecting
fees from students, if this problem will occur it might not be
successful to implement this activity. In requesting to use the
cashiering department it should earlier than 1 month.

2. Lack of support system and mechanisms. This is a problem of


accessing resources of the school just like the risk (1) it should be
plan earlier than 1 month through systematic planning. Efficient
information drive and campaign should be dealt by the initiators
not only to the beneficiaries but to the stakeholders as well in order
to gain more support from them.

 Other measures that would mitigate the adverse effects resulting from
such risks are:

1. Effective communication and strong leadership skills are necessary.


2. Creation of committee heads to initiate effectual collaboration is
likewise salient in this program.
3. Imposing sanction will be an effective tool to get the attention and
participation.
