PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter presents, interprets, and shows analysis of all the data gathered from the

Grade 12 students in Caloocan National Science and Technology High School in which the

researchers used Google form questionnaire as the research instrument.

1. Profile of the respondents

AS TO GENDER

TABLE 1. Presents the distribution of the respondents according to gender.

In this graph, it shows that out of 55 respondents, there are 31 or a 56.4% of the respondents are

female while the remaining 24 or 43.6% of the respondents are male. It means that the majority

of the respondents are female.


2. Factors affecting the time management of students regarding school works.

the time management of students regarding school works.

As seen in the graph above, almost 32 of the respondents really agree that the use of

social media affects their time management, 20 of the respondents frequently agree and less than

5 of them are not engaged on the either side. As for the loaded activities, almost 45 respondents

really agree that loaded activities affects their time management, 10 respondents frequently agree

while one of the respondents is not engaged on the either side. For the third factor, less than 10

respondents really agree that family problems can affect their time management. Almost 18

respondents frequently agree that family problems can affect their time management. 15

respondents are not engaged on the either side, while almost 11 respondents contradicts, and less

than 5 respondents do not agree that family problems can affects their time management.
For the next factor, which is having a romantic relationship, 5 of the respondents really

agree that this factor affects their time management while less than 10 respondents frequently

agree,11 respondents are not engaged on the either side and 6 respondents contradicts. Lastly,

less than 25 of the respondents do not disagree that having a Romantic Relation ship can affect

their time management. For the 5th factor, which is Bonding with friends, 11 respondents really

agree, less than 15 respondents frequently agree, 21 respondents are not engaged on the either

side and less than 10 of the respondents contradict and really disagree that bonding with friends

can affect their time management. For the Club Organization activities, less than 5 of the

respondents really agree, almost 12 respondents frequently agree and more than 15 respondents

are not engaged on the either side and lastly, less than 15 respondents contradicts and really

disagree that Club organization activities can affect their time management.
For the 7th factor which is doing household chores, as seen in the graph, 18 students tell

that they agree that they are usually interrupted by household chores and 18 students also stated

that they are neither uninterrupted nor interrupted by doing household chores. And about the

remaining 14 students, 6 of them states that they are frequently interrupted by doing household

chores in budgeting their time on a daily basis, while the remaining 8 students are not that

interrupted in budgeting their time by doing household chores. For the 8th factor which is playing

online games, 16 students strongly agrees, while 15 students agrees that by playing video games

is one of the main reasons that they couldn’t budget their time effectively and wisely. As for the

9th factor which is being an athlete or simply playing any sport after classes, 32 students stated

that they couldn’t manage they’re time effectively for they are inclined into sports and makes

time to exercise not only mentally, but also physically.


3. Do the respondents admit that they can’t handle their time properly?

The table 3 shows the answers from the 55 respondents, regarding the question whether

they can handle their time properly, 43 out of the 55 respondents admitted that they couldn’t

handle their time properly, while 12 out of the 55 respondents stated that they could handle

they’re time properly.
