Isopropanol-water azeotrope as solvent in the production of fish protein concentrate

In the process of the production of fish protein concentrate (FPC) the isopropanol
is recovered, most economically, in the form of an aqueous azeotrope. It has been
demonstrated that the azeotrope can be used elfectively for processing FPC avoiding
the necessity of dehydration.
